This week, I FIRED 2 people.
***When I say “I” fired someone, I mean, me – Trevor Crane.
Not my wife. I’m only using my wife’s photo, cause:
- she’s prettier than me,
- I needed someone POINTING at the camera, and
- I didn’t want to use Trump
“YOU’RE HIRED!” Is so much nicer to say than, “YOU’RE FIRED!”
I just can’t believe it.
First, one person just stopped coming to work.
She asked for full time work.
Then just stopped coming to work.
I just don’t get it.
Not a word.
Bye – bye.
The other fell off the wagon.
So she bailed for about a week.
Said nothing.
Left all her responsibilities, and bailed.
Then she came back to work with an apology.
Promised to never do it again.
So I accepted the apology.
I didn’t punish her.
No spanking.
No BS.
I just said, “Lets get back to work.”
The result?
She flaked again.
Within a week.
WHAT THE F?!
Both were doing REALLY well.
Both told me they LOVED working with us.
Both stopped showing up.
And both, will probably read this.
I just don’t get it.
Fucking sucks.
For them.
For me.
For our clients.
But… we’re moving on.
But screw me once, shame on you.
Screw me twice, shame on me.
More room for more awesome people.
And so I’m HIRING soon.

Know what the great thing is?
I’ve never lost an employee,
and replaced them with someone who sucked.
I’ve always just hired better and better people to work with us.
I can’t wait to see who it is!
